(*6*)The variety of enterprise leaders signing a letter urging “bold action” from the Senate on gun violence has grown to greater than 500, organizers stated Friday, in the newest signal that the company group is keen to see motion in response to the latest spate of mass shootings.
(*6*)The letter, coordinated by the advocacy group Everytown for Gun Safety, was launched final week with about 220 signatures. Some of the brand new signatories embody Yahoo, the Golden State Warriors, Squarespace, the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Cleveland Guardians, Penguin Random House, Macmillan Publishers, Alliant Insurance Services and La Colombe Coffee Roasters.
