The Council of Ministers, which is assembly on Monday, is anticipated to resolve on holding the Budget session of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha.
Initially, it was determined that the session could be held within the first week of June. However, with the announcement of the Sangrur byelection on June 23, and a mannequin code of conduct in place within the parliamentary constituency, the federal government now desires to current its first Budget after the elections. The Cabinet can also be anticipated to resolve on fund allocation for getting of moong crop on the MSP of Rs 7,275 per quintal.
